Sanket.Chat is completely free with no subscription, no in-app purchases, and no advertising. There is no catch: the free tier supports individual peer-to-peer encrypted communication. Tosh Defence's commercial model is based on organisational deployments of Sanket.Work and Sanket.Enterprise - not monetising individual Sanket.Chat users.

Sanket.Chat uses Signal Protocol - the Double Ratchet Algorithm with X3DH key agreement. This provides end-to-end encryption with Perfect Forward Secrecy. Every session generates unique ephemeral keys. The server stores only ciphertext.

Both use Signal Protocol encryption. The key differences are: Sanket.Chat has no advertising or metadata profiling business model; WhatsApp is owned by Meta and processes communication metadata for advertising. Sanket.Chat uses a zero-knowledge server architecture; WhatsApp's server architecture is closed and cannot be independently verified. Sanket.Chat is the entry point to an organisational secure communication ecosystem.
